Brewster Bayside Skippers
Promoting the sport of jump rope while teaching the value of self-motivation, physical fitness and teamwork.
Since 1993, the Brewster Bayside Skippers have been promoting the sport of jump rope while teaching the value of self-motivation, physical fitness and teamwork. Started by Coach Paul Mullin and now coached by John Hammond, the team has grown from a handful of elementary students into a team of national and international champions. They have jumped in parades all over the Cape, and have also had 3 members jump in a group in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2013 and 2015.

The team had 14 top ten finishes and 15 top 20 finishes at the 2015 National Competition. The team returned to the National Competition in 2016 and placed in the top 5 for four speed events (including two 3rd place finishes), and the top 10 for five additional speed events. In the individual freestyle events, there was one top 5 placement and two top 10 placements.
