| The First Night Committee entered the Chatham
Fourth of July Parade with an entry that featured an exact replica
of the Chatham Lighthouse, celebrating its 200th anniversary this
year. The lighthouse, built by vice chairman Richard Clifford, featured
a working light and reproduced the concept that First Night starts
at the Light, when Chatham residents show up at Noon on New Year's
eve to have the Town Photo taken at the Chatham Light. This year's
theme is Celebrate the Forties! |
